Teaching students about how to safely and efficiently use the internet is such a vital part of teaching, especially for our era of teaching.
It was great to talk about Wikis today in lecture and how they can be used in the classroom. It has clear links with a constructivist approach.
On my prac last year there was a year 4 class who had a class wikki page set up for them to access. The teacher uploaded their homework, class news and their spelling list for each week for them to access from home. I thought it was a great idea but I had no idea how to go about it. After today's lecture I have more confidence about setting up a page like that.
